The initial phase of the selection process is anticipated to occur in the second quarter of 2025, and the interview will follow four weeks after the results are announced.

Key points

The English language test is simply qualifying; thus, its scores will not be taken into account for merit ranking. The professional knowledge and general awareness component will be in billingua, English, and Hindi.

Minimum qualification

  • marks general eEWS category 35% in each section
  • 5% of candidates are SC/ST/OBC/PWD.

Every incorrect response will result in a negative grade of 0.25 marks.

Candidates who pass the online exam are going to be chosen for interviews depending on their qualifications. The interview will be worth a total of ten points.

 Minimum qualifying score

  •  General EWS category interview is 50% in each section.
  • 45% of candidates are SC/ST/OBC/PWD.

The interview shortlist

The final selection will be made based on merit ranking in the interview and online test; if two or more candidates receive the same scores, the older candidate will be given preference. Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1.3 ratio, meaning that three candidates will be called for every vacancy.

Final selection standards in the event that an online exam is conducted

A combination of the online test and the interview will determine the final choice. The online exam will account for 80% of the weight, while the interview will account for 20%. The final merit list will be created using the sum of the scores from the interview and the professional knowledge and general awareness parts.

If there is no online test

Only the interview will be used for selection, and the merit list will be created using the interview scores in descending order.
